Sharing the Love

I promised that I would share some of the many photos I shot at the Funky Junk Sister Show, so let's get started. The gals thought of everything - who doesn't love an old antique truck all decked out in red, white, and blue. It just screams SUMMER!!!

My booth was all done, so I took a moment to walk around before the show opened and was so excited to see that there was a crowd waiting to get in. Let the fun begin!!!

It was so great to see Debi and Bob of Retreat again. I can honestly tell you I couldn't get within 5 feet of their booth at Farm Chicks, so this was a real treat for me to get a close up look at all the wonderful things they had to sell. Kudos to Debi too for a great chat/seminar on Friday night. It got all of us thinking about how we should put our best "booth" forward.

John/Bob put up yet another lovely display here at the show. I had seen them the weekend before at Farm Chicks - I kept asking myself how these folks had anything left to sell, or any energy left to do these amazing displays again. I caught John before the show wrestling with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers - such a perfect touch!

This is Kris, followed by Amy from Today's Country Store in Sumner. They too were at Farm Chicks. Their booth was again "eye candy". Of course, I made another purchase - this time a wonderful plant stand & mirror turned end table. It's a lovely addition to my Sunroom! Thanks girls!!!

Love that Vintage sign - is it for Sale???

This is Wendy - she is a dear and please forgive me for the blurry picture, but I had to post it. She had a stash of very lovely things as well and so many great re-purposing ideas.

Loved the beautiful metal vase, Wendy!

My neighbor across the aisle was Debi Bock from Garden Party in Snohomish. She had a delightful booth - the umbrellas were made from vintage fabrics and trim. Darling!!! She had the most wonderful garden girl - a dressform all mossed up and planted. Amazing.

On Sunday, I received a surprise visit from my good friends, Kathy and Ron Lange. They drove a long way to see my booth and check out the show. Thanks so much you guys.

And lastly, someone snapped a picture of Judy (my next door neighbor, partner at the show, expert seamstress, driller, stapler and saleswoman extraordinaire) and me. So cute. We had a blast getting ready for this show and I definitely couldn't have done it without her.

This was an incredible experience for me. I am blown away by the sweet comments people have left - thank you all! Can't wait for next time - I'm hearing a fall show might be in the works. Wahoo!!!

  1. Sorry Doll, but the "vintage" sign is NFS. We have sold all of the other words and letters, but had to keep that one!
