It's the BEST Part of my Business

One of my favorite things about being a small business owner is that I make the decisions about everything; well, I do have a back-up partner that I usually run it by first. When I was approached awhile back to take part in a worthy cause, I jumped at the chance. Sure, I have donated in the past to the Make a Wish Foundation, The Red Cross, Baseball and Rotary Auctions, etc., but never have I had the opportunity to give back in such a huge way. So today, I have partnered with the folks over at Social Goodies!

Here's a word from our sponsor . . .

Social Goodies offers you unbeatable daily deals from national and emerging brands at up to 70% off. We donate 20% of every purchase directly to charity. We feature three well-known national charities each month for our customers to select with each daily deal purchase.

Our mission is to enable good deeds through the 20% given back to our charitable partners. Our promise is to do this through "good deals" for our community of customers. "Good" is the simplest expression of our brand's heart and soul and what we try to bring our customers, partners and the world.

I can't even begin to tell you know how excited I am about this adventure. So for one week only, head over to Social Goodies via the link below. Purchase the coupon for $22 (which gives you a $36 credit to spend on my website. That's almost 40% off!) You'll be given a code to use on my site, shop, and then enter that code at checkout. Leave the rest to me! Oh, and the best news . . . over $4 of your purchase goes directly to either, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, The Nature Conservancy, or Fisher House (a fund to benefit soldiers returning from War). It's your choice what charity you would like your donation to go to.

Let me know if you have any questions at all. And thank you in advance. Together we can make the world a better place!

She is . . . inspired.

Oh Pinterest, you never dissappoint me! This came across my feed today and I thought what a wonderful representation of color it is. It makes me want to design a piece of jewelry for each dress featured.

And perhaps I will . . .

I always love to get an idea of the upcoming season in fashion; whether it's the style, but mostly for the color. Pantone's color of the year for 2012 is called Tangerine Tango. I've always been somewhat drawn to orange. I think I spoke about it back in January that it's a color that I can wear. Not everyone can.

Do you have a favorite color palette that is getting you excited for the upcoming Spring/Summer season? I'd love to hear about it!

Refresh

Springtime . . . a time of renewal and new life. So that's just what I've done to these lovely filigrees. In the past they have been topped by a brass filigree bead, but today I had this amazing idea to lighten them up a bit for Spring. So what do you think??? I love them. They now are so pretty, still bohemian, but not so heavy. Perfect for the season ahead . . .

Ireland forever . . .

May the road rise to meet you

May the wind be always at your back

May the sun shine warm upon your face

The rains fall softly on your fields

May green be the grass you walk on

May blue be the skies above you

May pure be the joys that surround you

May true be the hearts that love you

And until we meet again

May God hold you in the palm of His hands.
