Why do we celebrate Memorial Day? For many, it's the kick-off to the Summer season. For other's, it's just an extra day off work. But for the many women and men who serve our great country, it's not a day off - the enemy still exists. And for SO MANY, this is a day of sadness when they are reminded of a family member who died for OUR FREEDOM. That's right . . . we get to relax in the comfort of our own homes, frolic at the beach, have a barbeque at a park because of the selflessness of these honorable men and women.
So when you go to sleep tonight, be thankful for all God has blessed you with and say a prayer for the families who celebrate this holiday in sadness. And don't forget to thank a Soldier! They have a thankless job, and they deserve our praise. God Bless America!
