IT happened last night . . .

Yesterday, July 1 was one of those days that don't come along very often. Awhile back I had asked a friend of mine if she would come and photograph my Studio, perhaps TRY to get a decent shot of me, and shoot some of my jewelry for an upcoming Holiday Ad that I'm doing. Well, let me tell you, Tiffany (The Fancy Farmgirl) came dressed in boots, camera in tow, a couple of chickens in her van, and a full head of steam ready to dig in. We chatted a little bit about "the look" I was after and then she just dove in. The weather was crappy - rainy but not too horribly gray that we couldn't get good light. She managed to get a couple of pics of me and she got a ton of my sweet Studio. I don't have the finished pieces yet, but rest assured, when I do I will be showing it off. She totally nailed my Ad as well - Tiffany is a people photographer and things on a much larger scale than my little earrings and bracelets. Yet, she was able to capture the perfect angle. I'm so happy and YES, I will be sharing that as well very soon.
But it's what happened after the photo shoot . . . I couldn't bear to send Tiffany out onto the freeway at the beginning of a holiday weekend. So I knew that she has some folks up my way that would love to see her. So I planned a little garden party. I was so excited to gather this fun and creative group of women together and we laughed the night away. We did have a "boys" table too for the 3 guys who tagged along. Unfortunately, they missed all the fun!

Judy, Laura, Debi, and Timi sharing a glass of wine!

Laura, Lissa, and Lisa

Kimberly and Tiffany . . . no lessons on photo taking for these girls. They're pro's!

So, it bears repeating . . . what are my favorite colors??? Tippy blue and red of course!

And just so you didn't think I was lying about the chickens . . .

The rain stayed away long enough for us to have dinner and dessert. I was full from a lovely meal, great conversation, and lots of laughs. Here's to good friends, old and new!
