What a sweet giveaway, Patricia! I have had a wonderful summer...so, it's difficult to pick just one thing. I would have to say, though, that discovering that a family of 7 little Violet-Green Sparrows had turned the wee lil' red birdhouse outside my shop into their nesting home...was pretty special. Meeting you and so many other lovely bloggers this summer was pretty special too!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad I found your site! I bought a beautiful mermaid necklace from you at Farm Chicks this year, and I get SO many compliments on it:) I'm excited to add more pieces! My favorite summer memory is giving birth to my beautiful baby girl Avalyn Lorraine this July. She is such a joy, and I've had some of the best days walking around our farm with my 19 month old son, and newborn daughter. We pick strawberries, and gather eggs, and visit the baby alpacas. They are such sweet souls, and I think this is my favorite summer yet!
ReplyDeletesummer flew by but I think my best memory is my husband taking the boys on a spure of the moment, fly by the seat of our pants trip to Omaha, Nebraska for the College World Series...I didn't got but I know they made memories they will never forget!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer 2010 moment was going back home to my family's farm in PA and seeing my niece and nephew (whom I hadn't seen in a year and a half...when my niece was baptized). As an added bonus a long lost cousin whom I hadn't seen since my 6th grade graduation was also back home visiting! It couldn't have been more perfect!!
ReplyDeletefavorite summer moments were going thrifting with my husband and going to the movies with my daughter. I love your jewelery...combination of seashells with the turquoise...stunning. Thanks for offering!
ReplyDeleteMy sweetest memory this Summer was a beautiful, simple, unplanned Sunday that turned out to be the best day with my family. You can read more about it here...

Yes...Sometimes SIMPLE is always better ;-)
This summer has been so eventful. Full of accomplishments, milestones, goals... It would be hard to pick one...but here goes. Getting my 85 year old house painted.. losing 45 pounds....spending time with my family, here and far away...getting our old classic car painted..(lots of painting going on!), antiquing with my hubs and sis-in-law, and loving life :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory from this summer is meeting some friends that I hadn't seen for a long time.
ReplyDeleteFavorite summer memory...spending time with my family on the beach on our last summer trip.
ReplyDeletethe kids had so much fun playing in the water and sand, just the perfect end of summer relaxing trip.
Hi Patricia! What a fun give away. As for my summer memories -- we've been without a home and living in random places (vacation rentals, with family -- not our car or anything!) since mid-May. Nothing overly exciting has happened but I am realizing how little a person really needs and that's probably my highlight. We'll hopefully be in our own place by mid-October and I'm already thinking of all the stuff that WON'T go from our storage unit to our next house. (Honestly, part of its out of necessity -- the house really is SMALL -- and part is this liberating feeling of less "stuff"!) This summer hasn't been all that fun -- but it's been enlightening and I guess that's what we needed. :)
