OH, how I love Thee . . .

Spring . . .

I do love Spring . . . really I do.  It just seems like it takes its own sweet time getting here though.  And I'm not the most patient person.  But Spring has come to the Tippy Stockton Studios, that's for sure.

Here's a few of my favorite things . . .

One of my favorite necklaces . . . ever.  The locket slides away to reveal the Lord's Prayer embossed right into the metal.  Amazing.

I think this little beauty would make a lovely gift for a special Mom.  Imprinted on the front of the pendant is the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother to us all.  Sweet vintage pink rondelles and baroque pearls make up the necklace.

The Collette . . . very sweet and romantic.  In a lovely celadon color as shown here, it also comes in gray, and a wonderful latte color.

The Rue de Eiffel Bracelet is really lovely too.  Featuring a cast Eiffel Tower charm, this lovely bracelet features gorgeous sky blue agate and some vintage Rosary chain.

The Le Ciel Bleu Necklace is another favorite.  Dangling from a rhinestone pendant is a lovely cast charm featuring angels in heaven.  Another beautiful consideration for Mother's Day.

One of my favorites . . . the Fatima Necklace.  Made of Amazonite rounds and shell, this lovely necklace is the perfect color of blue - aqua, my favorite.

And then here's the whole kit and kaboodle of them.  I love how they all look together.  Find these and other delights 24/7 at http://tippystockton.com/category/new.htm

Mother's Day is still a few weeks away, but it's not too early to be thinking of this special person in your life. It's also the official kick off to "almost Summer". I love the soft and fresh colors of the season. Lot's of pink, some aqua, and a little violet thrown in for good measure. My Mother in Law loves violet, lavender and purple. I have just the earrings for her!
Head over to http://www.tippystockton.etsy.com and check out all of the new jewels that I've added in the last week. Don't you just love SPRING!!! I do.

It's a new Season . . .

It's Spring my friends - time to shed those sweaters, throw open the windows, grab a bunch of tulips or daffodils at the market, and treat yourself to something fabulous to celebrate the Season.
Happy Spring . . .

Will I jinx myself if I say the "S" word???

It's the first weekend of March - oh glorious sunshine!!! This has been such a weird Winter - it really has been more like Spring. Can this mean that Summer will be coming early? I really don't like to talk much about that because Mother Nature has been known to send us a cold shoulder every now and then. But today, I was outside trimming the rose bushes, turning over the flower beds in preparation for the "good soil", and just enjoying the gorgeous day. So many things are in bloom already including our flowering cherry tree and my beloved Camelia. Even the lilacs are starting to burst open. But my most favorite of all is the bleeding heart. This was my grandmother Julia's favorite flower. And I have to say, it's mine too. I am fortunate to have a few different varieties in my yard; these are from the beautiful lipstick fushia plant.

When we moved to our home 20 years ago, the yard was filled with rhododendrens. I like them, I don't LOVE them, but I have to say when they first bloom, they are gorgeous.

Chloe let me take a few pictures of her as she ran around the yard. The squirrels have been tormenting her - it took everything I had including a few treats to keep her near me so I could snap away. She's a mini Australian Shepard - the blue merle variety with eyes so blue!

I think at this point, she was sick of the cookies and just wanted to high tail it out of there to go chase the bane of her existence.

My Studio. Can I say how absolutely blessed I am to have this little haven!

This lovely day was capped off by a Surprise Birthday Party! This is my good friend and crafting co-hort Cindy at her 29th Birthday Party!!! She'll love me for that. Cindy and I will be heading to St. Louis at the end of April to take part in the Mary Engelbreit Workshop. Wahoo - what a fun trip! Can't wait.

And, these are the "Housewives of Snohomish County". Front row, L to R - Cindy, Teresa, Moi, Tammy - Back row, L to R - Mary and Lisa.
Oh what a glorious day!

What's in STORE for Spring . . .

Well, that's a loaded question!!! Why, you ask???
Because there's a lot going on!
The shop is full of wonderful new designs for Spring. Beautiful colors to inspire your Springtime wardrobe as well as wonderful gifts for Easter and Mother's Day. Take a look at the photo collage below and see for yourself.

I just picked up my copy of a brand new magazine called "Flea Market Style". OMGosh, if you haven't seen this magazine, you need to rush out and get yourself a copy. This magazine is chock full of amazing photographs, and it includes stories about a few people here in my backyard (well not literally, okay, close-by). You'll be introduced to Joe and Jermonne, affectionately known as the Barn House Boys!!! These two young men have such an eye for design and share their story and their home with you on the pages of this magazine. Then there's Cindy from Land of Tarte. Talent beyond compare!!! These folks all hail from the Portland, Oregon area. I've had the pleasure of meeting them at some of their past shows and I'm excited to be giving you some breaking news today . . . I will be sharing the concrete with them this coming June at a little show (little, who am I kidding?) in Spokane called The Farm Chicks Show.

TIPPY STOCKTON IS A VENDOR @ FARM CHICKS!!!

Excited, Giddy, Scared to Death!!! Just a few of the emotions that I'm feeling right now. Here's a map in case you want to know where the show is (this wonderful little map is printed in the Flea Market Style Magazine - there you will see the entire U S of A, not just little old Washington State.

So more news on the Show as we get closer. Until then, get thinking about Spring . . . we have had a taste here in the Pacific Northwest. So lovely!!! As always, if you have any questions, just fire away. Contact me @ tippystockton@aol.com. Check out my Facebook Page too for up to the minute information and specials.
